Come celebrate the holidays with us this December 9th between 2pm and 6pm. We’ll be giving out cookies, goodies, and cider. We’ll have live music, art, and a year’s worth of stories to share. It’s the last chance to buy tickets for our basket raffles, which will be drawn at the end of the evening, so come get some tickets before it’s too late!
And, if the only reason you aren’t visiting the library is because you have fines, we forgive you! That’s right, come in during our Open House and let us know, and we’ll waive all your late fines. Unfortunately we can’t waive lost item fees, but we will waive the associated processing fees… just this once!
This is also a great chance to pick up some stocking stuffers, because we have beautiful, handmade bookmarks for only a dollar, and we do have a few of the keychain flashlights left — this may be your last chance to get them, here, for just $2! And of course we have a variety of paperback books which will just top off any stocking for a book lover.
We’ve added hundreds of books and movies to our collection, and we’ve worked hard to develop an audiobook collection with the help of Friends of the Library. We’ve added board games, graphic novels, and knitting, crochet, quilting, and cross stitch patterns to the items that can be checked out. We’ve had dozens of articles in the newspaper. Stop in any time between 2pm and 6pm for a lovely time at the library, to see what we are doing for you this year!
